Parking on Campus for Testing

Office Location

The ECU Testing Center is located in the B-wing of the Brewster Building on the main campus of East Carolina University.  The Brewster Building is located between the Fletcher Music Center and Christenbury Memorial Gymnasium at the intersection of College Hill Drive and 10th Street.  The closest physical address is 948 East 10th Street, Greenville, NC 27858.Brewster has four wings (A, B, C, and D wings) which makes a large square.  A and D wings are parallel to 10th Street with the B and C wings being perpendicular.  The Testing Center is on the first floor of the B-wing, which is closest to the Christenbury Memorial Gymnasium.  Often, you will see ECU buses parked outside of the gymnasium and may help as a landmark in finding our location.

Parking on Campus (Weekday Testing; Monday-Friday)

During the weekdays between 7:00am-5:30pm, parking permits are needed in order for examinees to park in an authorized visitor lots on campus.

Important Information on Parking (please read!)

  1. Please allow an additional 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time!
  2. If you are planning to park on campus and you do not have a parking permit, you must either purchase a $5 day pass (call 252-328-6294 to purchase a valid pass for B1 Zone), park in a metered space, or park in the Parking Garage.  Click For a campus map (PDF) showing these options in relation to the ECU Testing Center.
  3. The $5 day pass can be purchased in advance and prior to test day.  Metered spaces are $1 per hour with a maximum of 2 hours.  The Parking Garage is also $1 per hour.
  4. The closest physical address to the ECU Testing Center is 948 East 10th Street, Greenville, NC 27858 (intersection of 10th Street and College Hill Drive). We are located in B-103 of the Brewster Building, which is between Fletcher Music Hall and Christianbury Gym on ECU’s campus.
  5. If you park directly in front of the Brewster Building (on Ormand Way), you will be ticketed or towed. The Testing Center is not responsible for late arrivals due to parking, parking fees, or towing expenses.
  6. Feel free to call our office for additional directions or help at 252-328-6811 between 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
  7. Please remember all items needed for testing prior to leaving your vehicle (i.e., identification, admission tickets, etc.).

Parking on Campus (Weekend Testing; Saturday)

Weekend parking is available at no charge to test takers, however there may be some parking restrictions due to campus events (i.e., home football games).

SAT and ACT Parking Instructions (please read!)

  1. Please allow additional time for parking.  Testing starts promptly at 8:00am.
  2. Parking is available anywhere on campus at no charge.
  3. The closest parking will be in front of Brewster (on Ormand Way), behind Brewster (on Dixon Drive), across directly across 10th Street (on College Hill Drive).
  4. Staff will be assisting students with check-in and may not be able to answer calls on Saturday mornings.  Please familiarize yourself with the area prior to test day or call in advance for assistance at 252-328-6811.
